What are some common sleep challenges for babies, and how does Provenance Early Parenting Support help address them?

Many babies experience challenges such as difficulty falling asleep, waking frequently during the night, or having irregular sleep patterns. At Provenance Early Parenting Support, we approach these common issues with a blend of evidence-based strategies tailored to each family’s unique needs. Our process begins with a comprehensive assessment to understand your baby's sleep habits and any underlying factors affecting their sleep. We then develop a personalised sleep plan that may include establishing consistent bedtime routines, creating a conducive sleep environment, and teaching age-appropriate settling techniques.

What makes your services unique compared to others?

Our diverse paediatric and well-child clinical experiences allow us to truly provide a one-stop-shop in supporting your little one across the full wellbeing spectrum in these early years.  Our families get the added peace of mind that comes with developing connections with us through our continuity of care packages, and their ability to flexibly come and go as they venture further down the track with their parenting journey.

What is your approach to infant massage, and how can it benefit my child?

Our infant massage classes help strengthen the bond between you and your baby, support better sleep, and enhance their sensory and motor development.

How can I be sure that your services are of high quality?

Our services are evidence-based and led by Andie Fisher, a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.  Andie has over 20 years’ experience in paediatrics and child and family health, ensuring reliable and effective support across the health and wellbeing continuum.

What happens if I’m not sure what help I need?

We recommend starting with our Discovery Call to identify the most pressing issues and suggest the most appropriate service options for you and your child.

Do you offer any educational resources for parents?

Yes, we provide a range of educational sessions and resources to parents, including access to our various age-appropriate guides and other early parenting resources through a variety of platforms.

How does your service adapt to the needs of diverse family structures and lifestyles?

We customise our services to match family dynamics and parenting styles, ensuring that interventions are both practical and sustainable for your specific situation.  Appreciating every family’s unique needs, we offer after hours and weekend appointment options for those families who are back at work or studying during regular hours.  After hours and weekend appointments are limited and are subject to availability when requested.

What are the qualifications of your staff?

Our team is led by Andie Fisher, who holds a Masters in Health Management, a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nursing (Child and Adolescent Health), Infant and Child Sleep Consultant, and certifications in Paediatric Advanced Life Support and Infant Massage, among others.
